Behind chillr.dev

chillr.dev is the digital workspace and documentation hub of Farhan Hanif. I'm an infrastructure engineer who spends most of his time managing bare-metal hypervisors, untangling network topologies, and writing automation tools to make my life easier.

Originally launched in May 2023, this site serves as a public repository for my homelab experiments, production deployment notes, and the occasional post-mortem when things inevitably break. Software is only as good as the infrastructure it runs on, and this is where I write about keeping that infrastructure resilient.

The Archive

By looking around, you'll find deep dives into virtualization, network authentication, observability stacks, and custom Node.js tooling. It's essentially my engineering notebook, opened up to the public.

If you choose to subscribe, you'll get new architecture notes and write-ups sent straight to your email. I don't spam. You just get the pure signal—deployment strategies, scripts, and homelab updates—without relying on a social media algorithm to decide if you should see it.

Thanks for dropping by the lab. Your subscription and support make it possible to keep the servers running.
